Ingredients:
1 (9 inch) Deep Dish Pie Crust
5 Cups Crown Jewels Apples of your choice (peeled, cored, & thinly sliced)
1/4 Cup of White Sugar
1/4 Cup of All-Purpose Flour
1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
3/4 Teaspoon of Ground Cinnamon
1/3 Cup of White Sugar (for crust)
3/4 Cup of All-Purpose Flour (for crust)
6 Tablespoons of Butter (for crust)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Combine apple slices, 1/4 cup of flour, 1/4 cup of white, 1/4 brown sugar, & 3/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a large bowl and mix together.
Pour apple mixture in unbaked pie shell
Mix 1/3 cup of sugar, 3/4 cup of flour, & 6 tablespoons of butter in a separate bowl until crumbly. Spoon this mixture over the apples.
Place unbaked pie into preheated oven and cook until apples are soft & the top is lightly browned, about 40 minutes.
