Royal Apple Crumble Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 (9 inch) Deep Dish Pie Crust

  • 5 Cups Crown Jewels Apples of your choice (peeled, cored, & thinly sliced)

  • 1/4 Cup of White Sugar

  • 1/4 Cup of All-Purpose Flour

  • 1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar

  • 3/4 Teaspoon of Ground Cinnamon

  • 1/3 Cup of White Sugar (for crust)

  • 3/4 Cup of All-Purpose Flour (for crust)

  • 6 Tablespoons of Butter (for crust)


Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Combine apple slices, 1/4 cup of flour, 1/4 cup of white, 1/4 brown sugar, & 3/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a large bowl and mix together.

  3. Pour apple mixture in unbaked pie shell

  4. Mix 1/3 cup of sugar, 3/4 cup of flour, & 6 tablespoons of butter in a separate bowl until crumbly. Spoon this mixture over the apples.

  5. Place unbaked pie into preheated oven and cook until apples are soft & the top is lightly browned, about 40 minutes.

  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
